Motor Mount & Cab Mount Torque Specs
For the motor it's a GMC 305 v6 and the cab mounts, I just replaced the rubber with polyurethane pads and new hardware. I haven't tightened it down yet though.
Thanks! |

Re: Motor Mount & Cab Mount Torque Specs
AP,
I used new mounts as well and when we mounted the bed, we had to loosen the rear cab mounts a bring the seam in level. I don't remember reading they have a specific torque setting (as they are rubber and will give over time). I think the same will apply to the engine mounts as well.

So, do you think you would tighten them to the point of being snug or a ballpark tightness, like 15 ft lbs or something or until the rubber starts to squish a bit? |

Snug should be good, until you reset the bed. we used a straight ruler to get the lines just right. over time as the new rubber breaks in, you can recheck them.
