whats it worth?

hey yall, just being curious here, a guy told me the other day my dads truck was "worth its weight in gold" and we've actually had a few people itnerested in the truck when they see it out, I figured I'd post on here and find out just how much it is worth

he doesn't plan to sell it for now, although he'd love a new truck, its not in the budget

1986 k10 longbed, 305 4bbl, p/s p/b a/c tilt p/w p/l bench seat, column shift, dual fuel tanks, high miles (do we really even count miles on a car this old? I think its like 86k or so but I dont look anymore) cruise control, has some aftermarket radio in it but its shafted so no one mutilated the dash or anything, has an o/d tranny, I assume a 700R4

truck has NO rust, cept 1 spot I caused when loading firewood 10 years ago, but it aint bad rust, just surface. its a dent on the driver side right outside the middle stake pocket on the top edge of the bedside.

has a bed mat in it and its quite a work horse, has 33x12.5 dunlop a/ts on it at the moment.

thanks guys, heres a pic

yes its 4wd. thats why I said K 10

I dont know that its 86k miles it has X86k or something like that, dont relaly know

i'm not really talking about bluebook value either, I'm talking about people interested in this body style of vehicle whether it be restoration or modification, like the 67-72s.. in blue book vehicles like this are worthless cos to some people, its just an old truck, but to the right people, the enthusiasts (the cool people ) its far far more

thats why I was checking.

thanks so far

That is a VERY NICE truck. I think it could pull more in, especially down here in REDNECK COUNTRY. People in Texas have no value for money. If they see waht they want, they will pay anything for it.

But I still love South Texas
