Question Front Suspension Cross Member

My front suspension cross member has a couple welds on the inside of the lower control arm mounts I was wondering if they were factory or not. I was hoping u guys with the two wheels drives could help me out on this. Cause I am thinking they are not factory.

Spot welds? If so, they are factory and they hold the top and bottom portion together.

They are definitely not spot welds they are about a inch wide. They run from top to bottom on the crossmember. If this helpsone of my motor mount plates was weld to it.

Where on this picture, top or bottom. I don't see how your motor mount was welded to something on the bottom where the lower control arm mount is when it bolts to the top, so I am a little confused.

Are you saying the weld runs up the front (in pic) of the crossmemeber? If it is a bead, and it is on top, it ain't fatory. It sounds like the either has a different motor in there and welded motor mount on, or they broke a bolt and instead of fixing it, they welded it.

I think some one had some fun with it. Or was to lazy to replace it after it got cracked. Cause where the triangles are is where the welds are they run from the bottom of the crossmember to the top where the motor mount plates are.
