53 S10 swap- gauge recommendations?

put my 53 3100 on s10. 4l60e tranny, stock gas tank. used gauges from new vintage. look great. but dont work. never have. even my buddy whos a mechanic wasnt able to ever get the fuel or speed to work properly. spent hours on phone with tech support, no luck.

anybody have good success with their gauge clusters? id prefer to buy a set and not build/DIY.

saw a pair on hitech classics. not cheap at 755, but they claim to work with anything and everything.

id really like to be able to know my gas level. speed would be nice too!
