Thanks, mikey I like the color too......but this truck has a new motor and 700r4 in it............not eactly gonna be a showroom stock winner..........I'm not slamming it.......it will look a lot more stock than it does now.........just don't need the 4wd for anything, not planning on mudding, sanding, dirting, or snow driving, just to work, the store and the beach..........let the wife the kids to the pool type of thing..........

Food for thought, I'd keep it 4wd and go back to stock. It'll probablly be worth more if you don't cut up the front end.

My vote is -
Do whatever you want with it. Convert it, lift it, drop it, chop it, french it, part it, restore it, whatever. That's what makes them fun, you get to do what you want, not what someone else wants.

If you're thinking stock, two points I noticed on the engine:

1) I think the alternator should be on the drivers side.

2) The upper hose on a 4wd should actually be a piece of rigid steel pipe bent to shape with straight rubber connector hoses on the ends.

Thanks, I know blazers are basically 4x4's like jeeps, scouts and broncos, and that most owners lean to the 4wd side........I hope I don't have to hide in the 2wd closet!

Maybe there will be some progress this weekend........but I don't think I'll get it torn apart as fast as Orangeuavol.............

Motor is sweet....sounds like my old Camaro race car........2.5 duals weally open up at 3500 rpm.....this thing really rockets when you nail it.......but it is a bit noisy for suburbia.........exhaust is new and really nicely done, buy at 2.5 inches and w/ no h-pipe, I have to figure something out........

Don't want to spend a whole lot of dough, especially considering that the PO really did up a nice exhaust system......maybe just an h-pipe and a new really quiet mufflers........I want to be able to drive this rig hard without advertising it to the world........
