'72 Longhorn box update

When I squared up the box on the frame, was not sitting even with the back of the cab I used the correct frame brackets, where there but not bolted down, see pics here, actually only bolted down using 1 bolt in the front of the box behind cab

If it is still not sitting square and you know that your frame is not bent, measure across the bed from corner to corner both ways to see if the bed is out of square. If it is you might try putting a ratchet strap from corner to corner on the long side and pull it back into square. If you were driving it I would think the bed would be bouncing around a lot.....

Re: '72 Longhorn box update

If it’s square and not level I’d bet your cab mounts are worn or if new improperly torqued
