Looking for a used Rotisserie

i am looking for a used rotisserie close to Arkansas for my 1972 blazer!

Can't help you with that but if you need something cheap look into building a tipping jig... Built one for my blazer out of some 2x6s and scrap plywood. Worked out great for restoring the underside of my blazer.

Worked out better than I had expected. Wasn't super easy to tip up on it's side but I was able to do it on my own.

How did you bolt to body?

For the rear I bolted a piece of angle bar in place of the tailgate hinges. For the front I made a couple triangle brackets that bolt to the support on the firewall.

I like the idea of building a jig like this. I bet it was a bit sketchy turning it on it’s side alone. I would be afraid of it flipping all the way over.

No way to flip it all the way over. The full radius on the plywood make it roll smooth up until its at 90 degrees so it doesn't try to jerk away from you. Then the length of the straight edge keep it from going any further. You'd have to pick the full weight of the body up to roll it over.

Brilliant idea, wish I had thought of that! Looks like you braced the door openings, 1 of the most important area's on a Blazer tub.

Definitely have to brace the doors. I had to replace the rocker boxes so without the brace it would have folded in half... I just bolted on some angle bar using the bolt holes for the upper door hinge and striker plate.
