66 rewire
how long is it taking you guys to rewire your truck when using a kit like american autowire? reason i ask is i want to be driving my truck buy late april and i have a week off from work at the beginning of april and wondering if i have enough time to rewire my truck. i have never rewired a car before but i am thinking i could get it done in a couple days?

If you take your time and lay it all out and get an idea of what's ahead I could see doing it in a couple of days. I've done full harnesses in 4 different cars now and the most time consuming part is routing everything to look nice.

The AAW kit is spot on, start under the dash and go out from there. It took me about 14/15 hours and I went slow....

The last one I did was done over a weekend. You can make up the hood harness, the head light harness and the cluster harness ahead of time. If you follow the process they have for doing it in sections it really works well. You will need a couple of crimpers so plan ahead on those.
