84 305 to 86 350 Engine Swap
Hey Guys,
I've found a good 350 from a 86 Chevy truck to put in my '70 C-10. It currently is powered by a Camaro 305. I have a few questions: 1. Will it be a clean swap? Will the 1 piece vs. 2 piece rear main make a difference? 2. What is the first year for the Vortec engines? Thanks, John O>.

The first year for the 1 piece seal is 86 in camaros. 86 in trucks also. Straight across swap 1 vs 2 piece except the flexplate. are either engines centerbolt heads? if either are all stock and they are, you will have 1piece seal.
