Lower Door Panel Carpet

I was going to order a new set for my Jimmy since a shop in vegas left the windows down in a rain storm and f'd up cardboard. In looking i can't seem to find any like the last set i ordered years ago that had the correct screw holes and the chrome strip attached. Any ideas where i can still buy these?

Re: Lower Door Panel Carpet

Can you confirm if they came with the chrome strip and pre punched holes for the screws?

Re: Lower Door Panel Carpet

Most of the new aftermarket lower door carpet DOES NOT comes with the chrome installed. You can however transfer yours over, if they are in good shape that is. I left the chrome off mine and I think it looks just fine, but that's just my opinion.

Re: Lower Door Panel Carpet

I need to replace my lower door carpet panels.
The ACC door carpet at RockAuto.com looks OK.
BUT, the vent is wrong.
If I'm changing a part, I want it to be correct.
The vent on my existing panels are good.
Has anyone ever bought the ACC panels and switched their incorrect squared off vents for correct original round corner vents???

You have to re-use the chrome, its easy. As for screw holes, replacement panels do not come pre-punched. Last few builds I tried just using double sided 3M trim tape and it seems to work fine as screws can cause some distortion of the carper panel.

Re: Lower Door Panel Carpet

I saw the usa1industries product.
It's nice.

Can anyone speak to my question?

Has anyone ever bought the ACC panels and switched their incorrect squared off vents for correct original round corner vents???

Thanks

Never seen a round vent, all the truck vents are square/rectangle and those are correct

Post a pic so we can see what it is you have

Re: Lower Door Panel Carpet

Can you post a picture of the round vent you are referring to? I have never see that, all the ones I have seen are rectangle vents.

Re: Lower Door Panel Carpet

Factory door vents have rounded corners.
ACC's have squared corners.
This is the only picture I have.

Re: Lower Door Panel Carpet

I'm assuming your not talking about the speaker, that's round.

But I think I see what you talking about now. So if you look real close to the USA1 Industries carpet, I believe they are more rounded, like the original vents.
