Neutral Safety Switch for a 700R trans
Starting to put everything back together on my 70 GMC. I have a 700R installed and I'm trying to adjust the NSS. The current NSS is for the 350 trans. I can get 'Park' and 'Reverse' adjusted but my 'Netural' is falling between OD.
Does anyone make a NSS that will place neutral at 'N' for a 700R trans?

Re: Neutral Safety Switch for a 700R trans
I'm using a stock switch with a 4L60E. Works fine.

Re: Neutral Safety Switch for a 700R trans
I had a 700 (4R) in my '68 Skylark (Chevy engine) and the stock Super Turbine 300 trans shifter worked fine. Couldn't hammer it into low, though. Didn't need to. It was a real tire twister.

Can you use one for a square body or later van? My '83 K20 has a factory 700R4 and like '88 Vans had them.
