I'm not sure of the stock column diameter vs new floor shift. I have an auto column so I had to make a bracket.
I will say my stock seat is high, I'm 5' 10" and I feel like I look out the top of the windshield. At some point I might modify the seat like this build: http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...=725080&page=3 So you may want to figure out your seat height and column at the same time.
