Pioneer DEH-P47DH
hmmm... well the deal is, i was thinking about buying the pioneer p47dh cd reciever for my girlfriends pickup as a suprise for her. i heard that this deck is made to fit into the stock dash opening of most chevy cars and trucks from 95-99 without any modifications or adaptors. is this true? and also, i was wondering if anyone has this deck installed in their truck. if you do, can you send me some pictures of it? i would love to see what it looks like when its installed. any pics or help would be great... thanks

I a P87DH in my 95 Tahoe same as the 47 but with more features. It did look good in the dash. There is a kit that is available from Pioneer that includes the slide brackets and direct fit wiring harness. The place I bought my stereo from gave that to me. Make sure the one you buy comes with it.

I have the P47DH installed in my 95 truck. Fits in the big old hole very well.
When I got it installed, I had a Delphi XM receiver installed. Now, I really don't need the CD player. Upgraded speakers all around. Now long drives are even more enjoyable. Ed
