1976 C30 Dually Running Frame Assembly
Selling a running/driving frame assembly for a 73-80 GM crewcab dually pickup.
I bought a running/driving 1976 GMC C35 2wd dually and I only used the cab, doors, and front clip. This is everything else. All mechanical systems are intact as they were when I drove the truck in the shop. I only removed the steering box from the frame. Everything else is there, including all the brakes and engine items. I want to sell the entire assembly as you see it. If you want the engine and trans, take it all and part it out to recover costs. There is alot of money in small parts here, much more than my asking, if you want to just part it out. 454 big block/turbo 400. Engine has cam and runs fine. Sounds good. Flowmaster exhaust that appears to be new. New alternator I installed. Transmission shifts fine and combo runs interstate speed fine. No known history, I've own the truck about 8 months, all of which were in storage until I took the sheet metal. Chassis has fresh brakes new before I bought it. Hydraboost all the way to the wheel cylinders. I'm sure they'll need freshening, but the parts are there. I didn't crack into them when I pulled the cab. I just let the master/booster move aside. Core support is still there with all the cooling items. Bed is on the frame with a ton of extra brake parts and other parts in it. Chassis wiring is uncut and still there. I just unplugged the wiring at the firewall and lifted cab. You'll need an 18' trailer minimum with winch to haul it off. Asking $1800. I'm pricing a little high to try and avoid all the offers just for the engine and trans so shoot me a reasonable offer for the whole thing. I have a video of it running I can email upon request. Thanks.

Re: 1976 C30 Dually Running Frame Assembly
cluster shows 96330. I'll get a pic up.
Based on the condition of the truck(very clean other than the bed was wrecked), I don't think it has rolled around. I'd put money that it is actual. I know the truck sat for a long time in a barn. It was pulled out the barn after the uncle died, and the guy did all the brakes and such. Put a new bed side on it. The story I was given was that the uncle used the truck on the weekends to tow his race car to the dirt track over in Pike County MS. I pulled the truck from Carriere MS so that's about a 200 mile round trip. So everything kind of adds up to me, but of course I have no way to prove anything.
