Got outrun by a F@#%
Not just any F@#% a 1 ton 4 door 4x4 diesel. Beat me by 6 tenths with 3 passengers. I was deffinately impressed. He ran his best time against me(just my luck) a 14.32 @94mph. He sure did embarrass my lil hot rod. : I guess his daddy has alot more money than I do.

Just pretty much a fun day at the track. Pretty lax on the rules.

On my last run I guess I lost fuel pressure about 300'from the finish line cuz she just fell on her face and i got outrun by a friggin volkswagon.

you compression is too low, that'd be a good start at getting some more power out of it. should be somewhere in the neighborhood of 9.7:1

a couple of yrs ago i had a toyota mr2 that was fast off the line an all the way through the top end at 140,,i got whupped by a f350 deisel 4x4 crewcab off the line..i could not believe the way he took off at the stoplight..he had me by a truck length until about 30 mph then i got even.....
 gosh i miss little street legal go cart......

I think the compression is ok. I'm running a 8.5:1 with stock iron, Hecho in Mexico heads and running 14.5's. What is the elevation over there? Are you spinning much off the line?

How about a Diesel F350 Crew 4x4 running 11.42.
http://timber.arxys.net/albums/2-27-04/F350Run.wmv If I had to guess I would say that truck is making about 1,100 HP. You just don't throw a 7,100 lb truck down the track at 118 mph without some really big numbers.
