I am not talking down to you, but I have made some pretty stupid mistakes when it comes to stuff like this.
I'll check the gasket when we remove it. The PO didn't remove the top in the 2 years he had it, I don't see signs of a leak, so hopefully it's in good shape.
I noticed the plug in for the dome light, looks like something I'd miss and yank apart though.
