Kickdown cable.
I put a new 1" carb spacer under my 1406 on my performer intake, and for the stud pattern to match up i had to change the position of my kickdown cable. The bracket had to move back about 1/2", causing the cable to be tighter. Will this mess anything up? it seems to kickdown a little harder and sooner now, and hold the shift a little longer. Will this mess anything up? its on a th350 btw. thanx guyz

Adjust your cable by the spring in back pull up clip, open throttle wide open lock clip back down . the clip might be pretty stubborn up and down but you will know when it is loose and locked.
