Yes the door speakers (mid & tweeter) are Sherwood's with a cross-over.

No cover or insulation in there, and as far as I'm concerned, none needed.

I have a Rockford Fosgate 8" sub in an enclosure between the buckets with the same brand bridged amp. under the drivers seat.

The door speakers, and the ear blaster (for lack of a better term) speakers are powered by another amp. under the passenger seat.

Blew up the original ear blaster speakers, so I cut in some quality Pioneer speakers to replace them.

Toss in a JVC stereo system, and the next thing you know you're cruising down the highway in Carnegie Hall!

Nice. I have a bad habit of adding afterthoughts to a post in a later edit. Sometimes people don't catch them. I should just make a new post, but I'm lazy.
Judy Collins once said she asked an old blind street musician in New York City ''how to get to Carnagie Hall?''
He shook his head and said: "Practice... practice... practice."
