How many 1st Gen Blazers are left?

According to Wikipedia the 69 to 72 Blazer increased in production year after year, see link. Any estimates on how many are left. Wild guess is welcome.

Re: How many 1st Gen Blazers are left?

'71 here. Father In Law bought it new and gave it to my wife (she has early memories of trips in it) last Thanksgiving, so we are 2nd owners. Won't get rid of it (my wife says it will go to my son when we are gone) so will stay in the family. Stock with the exception of wheels. Sits in the garage with my '68 Jeepster (my son will get that as well). Love the old metal!

Re: How many 1st Gen Blazers are left?

I'd say only 5-10% still exist. The paint and rust prevention techniques on these trucks was poor at best. I have personally scrapped 6 rusty 1st gen Blazers (All 1972's), and onto my 7th(donor for the 1970). I am saving the 1970 that my dad purchased brand new.
