Differences between 10's and 20's?
Ok Im going to buy a 69C20 tommorow for 300 bucks

Suspention.
8 lug is a 20 (3/4 ton) 5 or 6 lug is a 10 (1/2 ton) The brakes are way better (bigger) on the C/20 trucks, but they are geared lower. |

the 3/4 is heavier than the 1/2 ton, but not by a whole lot.
They can haul and tow a heluvalot better though. |

3/4 tons have full floating rear ends, better brakes, usually a heavier duty cooling system, way more load capacity and they ride like tanks when not loaded

The frame also has extra braceing back by the carrier bearing mount on 20"s....

I didn't know that. I know the frame rails are the same though...had no idea on the bracing.
The trainling arms are beefed up a bit too if the 3/4 ton is a coil rear. |
