I am selling my 82 GMC Stepside Pro Street and need to re cover the bench seat. I was wondering what company is sells the best fitting covers, don't want the cheapest and not the most expensive Looking at Black Vinyl.

Re: Seat Covers
You may get a better price if you take it to an upholstery shop. Would look more professional and will last longer. (IMO)

Re: Seat Covers
I highly recommend USA1 Industries. They have a guy that makes excellent quality and fitting covers. Here are a few of his covers that I have used.

Re: Seat Covers
I don't know who manufactures them (maybe USA1?), but I am very happy with the one I got from Classic Industries. I think the price is pretty reasonable. They have a sale one right now, too.
This one would look great in your truck, I think you will more than recoup your investment when you go to sell it. https://www.classicindustries.com/pr...028100701.html

Quick question: Does Pete offer sending additional tweed / vinyl along with the cover? I would probably want to inlay some vinyl into my door panels to match the seat and/or cover my speaker boxes in the same material. |

Re: Seat Covers
I just recovered mine using a cover from Classic Industries, turned out pretty well in my opinion considering it was my first time recovering a seat. The cover seems like good quality and didn't break the bank.

After getting a refund for the cover that ripped, I ordered another 73-80 cover from USA1 Industries. The fit was perfect. I had measured the Classic Industries cover before sending it back and then I measured this new one. The USA1 cover was 4" longer than the cover that ripped. Here's a pic of it. It is installed on 77 tilt seat, Camel Tan

Re: Seat Covers
Thanks Guys for the help. Good thing, I sold it to a guy who wasn't worried about the seat. Now I can get back to my 72 K5 and fix the motor.
