Found these pics, thought they might help someone. Yes I deleted the throttle cable hole.

Looks like you;re doing a good job. But the deleted throttle hole would bounce off my OCD for being asymmetrical!
In hindsight, I should have done the full dash delete some guys do including the glove box. The box is useless anyway if you install Vinatge Air AC.

Fixing the hacked dash that someone stuck a sterio in in the 70's. Pretty much a way of life with these trucks.

My ongoing truck projects: 48 Chev 3100 that will run a 292 Six. 71 GMC 2500 that is getting a Cad 500 transplant. 77 C 30 dualie, 454, 4 speed with a 10 foot flatbed and hoist. It does the heavy work and hauls the projects around. |
