Alright, I did some digging and combing through some threads and found another truck with the same crossmember. I stole the first image from 67c10rustbuket. It looks like his trans is angled down about the same as mine. The second picture is mine at a similar camera angle.
Judging by these pictures, it would appear this is how this trans crossmember mounts the trans. |
