Rad for 53 Chevy, s10 Chassis and SBC

I am looking for a rad for my 53 Chevy truck on S10 chassis. I have a SBC 350 for the engine. I would like a rad that has the flanges on the sides to bolt to my core support. Can someone point me to a supplier or the part number of what they have used.

Thanks.

Wade

My truck is on a S10 chassis with a 350.
1964-66 Mustang 289 V8 radiator fits nice in these trucks and cools them just fine. Mine runs 195 all the time.

Re: Rad for 53 Chevy, s10 Chassis and SBC

Actually, I ran one of those for 10 years with no problems, then this summer it started leaking at the seam on top. Shop wanted $250.00 to recore it. No thanks.

Went to O'Reilly Auto Parts and got one ($144.00) opened the box and it looked terrible. Not much quality control in China I guess. Back it went.

As luck would have it, Jeg's had that aluminum one on sale $136.39 shipped to my door.

I guess you just need to hear it twice, I told you about the 67 mustang rad in your last "I need a radiator" thread.

good to hear fiftytwo's review of the spectra one though, the problem I had with the local one is the fins got bent super easy

Yes, sorry, I was not sure if the Mustang rad had the flanges on the side.

Ordered this one from Jegs today. Too many bad reviews on the cheaper copper and brass rad.

thanks for all of the input - greatly appreciated.
