Anyone need a cab cart?

I am priming my cab tomorrow and will be removing my cab from the cart pretty soon. Don't hold me to it, it may take a month the way I seem to get things done. But not too awful long I will be removing it from this cart I made from an original frame.
If you will soon be in need, let me know, I am in the South SF bay area.

It will be free.

You're a good man Charlie Brown! I'd be on that like now if I was a LOT closer!

Re: Anyone need a cab cart?

It's worked well for me, if someone can use it, that would be awesome. Hate to throw it in the metal bin at work when there is someone who can use it.

Re: Anyone need a cab cart?

I made one when I was working on my 57 and it was indispensable in my small shop. Going to be doing it all again and will need to build another since I got rid of my old one.

Re: Anyone need a cab cart?

I've got the fraternal twin to that one out under one of my cabs. I didn't think of using the trailer dolly to move it around though.

I need to put that cab on the little trailer that the other cab is on so I can move them around to get some work done in the yard though. As much space as I have I don't have enough space to put everything and be able to have some workers come in and do what they need to do.

77 C 30 dualie, 454, 4 speed with a 10 foot flatbed and hoist. It does the heavy work and hauls the projects around.

Re: Anyone need a cab cart?

You have the fraternal twin to everything I have! The trailer thingies from Harbor Freight have came in VERY handy. I can move that baby out of the garage out onto the lawn to sand blast, and back in like a rock star.

Re: Anyone need a cab cart?

I keep looking at those but haven't bought one yet. I put a trailer ball on my lawn mower and move the little trailers around the yard with it. I bought one of those 4x8 HF style trailers at Habit a while back and that thing is a work saver behind the mower. I don't think I would tow it on the road but it's handy and will get a lot of use. I need to make a setup to raise the ball on the mower though mower is an older John Deer 325 that is a real workhorse.

Re: Anyone need a cab cart?

Thanks for posting , I was fixing to remove my cab ,and needed a cart, but I'm in the same boat too far for me from Texas, but I will steal your engineering, I couldn't come up with a way to steer it, but tow dollie and a coupler will work great, I don't think I would scrap it just yet, seems like it would come in handy for a mobile work bench for bed assy. , bed wood finishing ect. seems like it wouldn't take up much space if you stood it up on end. But that's just me I'm a pack rat .

Re: Anyone need a cab cart?

The jack stands by the way are welded to it. You can pull the pin and remove it, but honestly, I should have welded the jack stand together too, no need to ever remove it that I can think of. I thought I might so I had them removable.

Re: Anyone need a cab cart?

Good evening. I would like to have that cab cart. I was just getting ready to start building one. I’m not in a big hurry either. I am up in Healdsburg, so it’s only about 2.5 hrs down to the south. Bay
