Front wheel bearing question
I am about to replace the front brake rotors on my 87 3/4 ton suburban.
When I get the new rotors, I will need to replace the wheel bearings at the same time. My question is: what all will I need? Looks like I need inner and outer bearings as well as seals. Do I need inner and outer bearings, and inner and outer seals as well?

Re: Front wheel bearing question
It should be:
Outer race Outer bearing Inner race Inner bearing Inner seal You may want to pick up a new nut, washer, and dust cap. Doing a disc brake swap on my 70. Have parts from an 83. Here is what is on my shopping list if the rotors / bearings need to be replaced. Re: Front wheel bearing question
I'd think that's about it. I assume the new rotors will have the races in there?
Inner, Outer bearings and a seal. New dust cap, cotter pin and nut.

Re: Front wheel bearing question
Some rotors do but most do not. CHeck the part description carefully. ANd don't buy cheap bearings if you plan to keep the truck.

Re: Front wheel bearing question
I buy national bearings n they come with races. My rotors did too but I hit out the new preinstalled ones and just used them to install my national ones. Didn't do that one time n they didn't last 2 weeks.

Re: Front wheel bearing question
New rotors come with cheap Chinese races, always replace with quality races and bearings
