Pre Deployment 1970 GMC c2500 build
So about to head home for a couple weeks before deployment and wanna make some progress on my gmc c2500.. has a lot of rust but my main concern is the T-5 transmission ang dropping it a few inches and more importantly finding a clean rust free bed in the maryland area. If anyone has lead on a bed feel free to let me know. I want a better transmission alternative so need some input on that also. And as far as the drop goes I need advice on what kit to get. Gonna be doing all the rust repair and paint myself a few years from now but wanna make the truck as mechanically sound as I can for the time being. Has a inline 6 in it and might think about keeping it and just rebuilding it or pulling it and puttin a big block in it. Thanks in advance and follow my Instagram page @raggedoutsquarebodys to see more cool squares and my other chevy squarebody.

Amen to that! Both my brothers in law are marines. Be safe! My dads got a 67 bed that needs some work, I think he might even have the patches it needs. He’s outside Harper’s Ferry. I bet he’d let it go cheap. (Yes I’m in New Mexico but I’m from Neersville Va. just across tho Potomac)
