Power steering pump Bracket
I am putting a 72 blazer back together and can't find info on how the rear section of the power steering Bracket bolts up to the motor. It is a two piece bracket and I think two bolts go in the front of motor and the other goes to the motor mount. I think the Bracket is bent but not sure how I took it off and don't remember this much trouble but it's been a year I am trying to post a pic but I am just beginning to use this forum and have not figured out how yet
Thanks |

Re: Power steering pump Bracket
Yes. That's it. It must have gotten bent somehow. Doesn't it attach at the motor mount and is there a secret to getting to that boost after the Bracket is installed.
Thanks |

Re: Power steering pump Bracket
Here is another one that shows it mounted on the block. The bolt in my first photo is just holding the two pieces together in the position they would be in. As indicated above, there are two bolts that bolt to the block front and the motor mount bracket part uses the motor mount bolt to fasten it to the side of the block.
