I don't know if we had ever come up with a definitive answer to which headers clear clutch linkage. I know the rear tube needs to drop down vertical if not slightly forward. The other question is how far down before the bend. I have had headers clear all but the one lower arm of the bell crank. I cut it off and welded to the side to make clearance.
