ball joint dust boots
I have the spindle out to start my lowering job on the 82 c10 and in the works the lower spindle ball joint dust boot got destroyed from the pickle fork , were the heck can I get new ones ??? I guess I mite just as well do the uppers also

Ebay, summit racing. I know here places like AutoZone and Orielly's have them. Not sure what you folks have up yonder.

toss the pickle fork in the scrap metal bin .
get a 3-4 lb mini sludge hammer . wack the knuckle were the ball joint or tie rod goes in a few times and them POP apart without destroying the boot's . also leave the nut on a few full threads to keep stuff from flying apart . and as said those parts places should have boot kits from places like energy suspension .
