They don,t make a 225 anymore ,here anyway and they don,t make a 245/70 which would be nice. I could run a 7 inch ralley on the rear too but I,m a little leary on running a spacer. I just thought the 235 on a 8 inch rim on the rear would look abit shorter in dia. Not much to choose from on 15 inch tires, I like the ralleys and can,t find anything nice in a 17 or 18 inch rim at a reasonable price, everyone has the Boss type 5 spokes. Too picky I guess but is one thing that bugs me and the first thing I notice on other cars. What wheel spacer would you recommend
235/70/15(27.95” tall) is taller then 255/60/15(27.05).

The first number is the section width of the tire(in mm)

The second number is the section height. It is a percentage used with the first number.

The third number is wheel diameter.

235(width) 70(70% of 235=165.5mm section height) 15(wheel diameter)

255(width) 60(60%of 255=153mm section height) 15(wheel diameter)

To answer your first post in this thread, the truck will sit a tad higher in the back with the taller tires, but the tread on the tire will be a little skinnier.
