The New guy from AZ
Well I took the plunge! Picked up a 72 K20 4x4. Been wanting to to a full resto on one of these for years. I gave all the money for it but its got pretty good bones I think. Looking at doing a full restoration with a resto looking LS1. Big stance with 6" lift hoping to jam 37" BFG KM3's on it. hoping to find some factory buckets for inside and adding all the cheyenne trim doing a two tone blue & silver. Just getting started but pretty excited. Last rest I did was for someone else so should be fun to do one for myself.

Re: The New guy from AZ
That’s a great truck! Congratulations.
Was it on the Phoenix Craigslist? If so, I must have missed it!

I actually recently picked up an LS1/ T56 from a guy down in Phoenix for my Camaro. Before that, I was highly considering a rebuilt 5.3 LS long block from AZ Auto Performance in Surprise. Hard to beat a rebuilt long block for $1500!
