looking for a part

got my wiper motor ready to go back in the stock spot on my 60. when i took it out the mounting bolts grommets everything was rusted or just about gone. Ive ran in to a stumbling block and cant seem to search and find the parts for mounting the motor back. ive searched here on this site and others but have not come across the original parts or a replacement or even something that would just plain work. helpers???

While I can agree with the setiment of the being baffled, you don’t realize I get stuck in internet queries. I find or don’t find the same ****. And my attempts end with me not finding stuff. You seem bothered to help. So why do you mock and then help I appreciate input but, don’t assume I didn’t try. And if you can’t help being a smart ass, cool, I struggle with that as well. btw thank you!

Re: looking for a part

My search query was too specific what I found this morning before being told I don’t search the internet...”Windshield Wiper Motor Grommets & Screw 6pc Set 60Gm Chevy” my result was same as above.
I don’t ask and stop working on it I will find the answer I’m looking for

You realize that the grommets and screws in the link he gave you are the parts needed?
And by the way - The quote in your sig is incorrectly worded.

Re: looking for a part

the early wiper motors are different in mounting. don't know what year they changed, maybe 64-66? my 61 has a big type of o-ring not 3 rubber grommets

the 60 that I have wasnt modded and i have three grommets and three bolts with a big O grommet to seal the motor to the fire wall. I think it need a ground strap also, but as Ive read the motor is ground switched, meaning it needs to be isolated so as to not run all the time. At least that is what I read. I may have applied that knowledge to the wrong year truck. I think the year was 64 it has a totally different mounting set up.
