LCA Bracket
I am in the process of rebuilding my front end along with installing a disc brake conversion kit. I'm cleaning things up as i go along and noticed the bracket the LCA sits in with the aligning pin is loose. It's riveted in and i think it will be secure once the u bolt is tightened? But just double checking in the event someone thinks I should grind out rivet and install new bolt and alignment head?? The other 3 are riveted in tight to the frame.

Re: LCA Bracket
You should be OK. You don't mention the year model. If it is a pre '73, I would upgrade the u-bolts that hold the lower cross shaft to the saddles to the '73-'87 versions as they are made from a larger diameter material. All you need to do is drill out the holes where the u-bolts pass through the cross member to fit the new size bolts.
