Tach question
In my search for the elusive 6 Cyl tach for the K10, I came across 2 part numbers for the V8 tach.
Is this tach more or less desirable/valuable? GM #6468228 is for the 8cyl gas engine tach (except medium duty trucks with transistor ignition). More out of curiosity than anything Thanks |

Re: Tach question
I have one at home in my shop, I will see if I can get some numbers off the back of it and a picture. I got mine by mistake, went to go look at a truck for sale parked on the side of the road at a farm. Before I could get out to the truck the farmer approached me and said are you interested in the truck for sale. I replied yes, he said $700 and it is yours. I said before even walking up to the truck to check it out I will go to bank and be back in 15 minutes. When I got back he had his truck pulled up to it to jump start it, he said jump in and turn it over. When I opened the door it had Buddy Bucket seats and 6 cylinder tach. Paid him the $700 for the truck, got the title and drove off. Removed the tach and Buddy Bucket seats that evening and sold the truck two days later for $2500. Like I have said before you just never know what your going to find.
