I hear talk of front differentials so I assume it is a four wheel drive truck. Do you know if it has a posi-traction unit in the front differential? Issues with a posi (binding/dragging) could result in the slight pushing you are feeling at the beginning of turns. Just a thought.

^^ I hadn't even considered anything to do with a front drive axle but that brings up more possibilities. If it is a 4x4 truck, simply having the hubs locked in, even in 2WD, can make steering & braking have a slightly different feel. I guess front diff problems or issues with one or both locking hubs could throw even more into the mix.

Swedchevy67, can you give us more details about your truck? Pics would help too.

Does your center steering link look like this one? If so yours is installed backwards too. These pics were provided by board members. The inner tie rods mount to the back side of the center link and to do so the center link has to be removed and switched around. It does make a difference in how the truck drives. It should look like the 2nd pic with the tie rod nuts to the front of the link.

We can rule out steering linkage then. Is the antisway bar rubbing something? I see your arrow.
