Lowering Spindle Help Please
Got these with the latest truck purchase. Cannot tell of they are western chassis and what the drop is supossed to be. I have been on Google for a couple days and researching, but nothing has come up. Can anyone help identify the following...
1. Who built them? 2. 1" or 1.25" rotor 3. Drop 2" or 3"

Re: Lowering Spindle Help Please
What year truck?
Those don’t look like 73-87 drop spindles.

Re: Lowering Spindle Help Please
The truck is an 85 c10. I received a c notch kit with them as well as the lowering springs.

Re: Lowering Spindle Help Please
Thanks, that's kind of my thoughts too. I'm going to call Western Chassis tomorrow and see if they can validate.

Re: Lowering Spindle Help Please
I contacted Western Chassis. They could not tell me who built the items...so the search continues...

Re: Lowering Spindle Help Please
I would just buy the correct parts for your truck.
These obviously are not going to work on 73-87 truck. And you need to verify that your ‘85 c10 has 1” or 1.25” rotors before you order drop spindles.

Power brakes that used 1" rotors were referred to as "JB3" systems. Base 1.25" systems were "JD3". JB5 and above gets into larger rear brakes and hydraulic boosters instead of vacuum.

Yes, currently 1" rotors are on it. It was a v6 truck. Thanks
