could someone please measure..

I need to know what the length is of a throttle cable from the firewall to a Rochester Q jet on a 73 and up truck. It seems that they are a great donor for throttle cables if you have installed you 350 in the old inline 6 location on a 67-72, like I have. I am having one ***** of a time trying to find a new one that will fit

Thanks

i measured it as best i could and it was about 17". it does not go straight from the firewall to carb, mine had some extra length in it, enough to cause it to curve before it went to the carb.

Yeah, they are supposed to have a curve and then have a brace on them that bolts to the intake. Many thanks for all your help!!
