Glasspacks
Right now ive got 2 12" glass packs on my dual exhaust setup. What would be the sound diffrence between those and longer ones say 24" or 30"? Would it quiet the truck down a bit? less resonence at higher speeds? or would it not make much of a diffrence.

Longer ones should quiet it down a little, but it will still have that same glasspack sound. You might want to try some "turbo" mufflers on there. I've seen them for as low as $18 in Summit, and they'll sound better than any glasspack, IMO of course. Not as "harsh" sounding as glasspacks, with a deeper sound. They shouldn't have the resonance that glasspacks have either.

I had a set of thrush turbos on my truck, and they sucked ( but what do you expect for 20 bucks a piece) They were way to quiet for cruiser, but they work perfect on a daily driver.

ive ran some longer glasspacks that just sounded mellow no popping or throaty sound. just make sure you get the large core one's the small cores are what cause the sound people dont like.
