Anyone know what the ride height of an original napco is , from ground to rocker panel? Also would like to know the original tire and rim size for these trucks.
need to close up some space in my wheel wells on the project I am working on .

Re: napco ride height and tire size
Not Napco but my axles are in the same place on bottom of stock springs. With 16" wheels and 28.5" call tires it is 18.5" from bottom of sill under the doors to ground. I think the wheels were 16 or 19.5" depending on the size of the truck.
These guys can give you more info: http://www.napco4x4.org/

Re: napco ride height and tire size
Let's rip this dead thread out of its grave, throw some coffee in her gut and proceed!!! I bought a 57 NAPCO 3600 this past weekend and she has a mix match of rusted bent and broken wheels and rotten tires (She has been sitting since 1981.) I came across a set of Hummer H1 wheels and tires locally for $500, and these would suit my needs fine (pasture/ ranch truck), but I want to be sure they aren't too large without a lift. I believe they are 36/37" tall...

Re: napco ride height and tire size
In my snooping around the net a while back I came across a Napco owners forum. Here it is.
I didn't snoop to see how active it is though. Some of this seriously narrow scope special interest forums don't have a lot of activity http://www.napco4x4.org/history.htm
