Help identify throttle assembly
72 Chevy C10
Please help me identify what is going on with my throttle pedal rod. I am having a hard time getting a pedal attached. It has a flat blade on the end instead of a hole for the little rod and spring that the attaches the pedal. Thanks

Re: Help identify throttle assembly
That looks like an earlier model rod. That was used on 67-70 models. It had 2 ball studs in the floor that popped into rubber holes in the pedal to form a hinge.

Re: Help identify throttle assembly
That is the style in my '67 ,but I modified mine with part of an IHC scout pedal assembly.
