1971 AC/Heater Fan Switch

Having a problem with AC fan. Runs on 1 & 3, but not 2. Someone has cut the factory switch off and put spade connectors in place. Wires may be in wrong slot.

The wiring diagrams I see have fewer wires than what is on this switch. The diagrams shows brown, blue, yellow, & orange. The label says Heater Switch. Mine has an additional yellow wire.

Is there a wiring diagram for AC/Heater switch? Thinking this is the difference.

Also thinking I may only be getting 1 & 2 with no 3 due to spades being in the wrong place.

Not sure which wiring diagrams you are looking at, but this thread has a couple a few posts down: http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=675589
