Saw an add on Facebook that auto metal direct is producing new bedsides with new tooling.

I thought it would take longer for them to get around to doing short bed box sides, so I spent a good part of the summer patching up mine, dam . oh well

If AMD is the ones making them, I bet they will be very nice. The pictures look like they even have the factory style nuts square nuts where the floor bolts on.

I looked high and low this summer for a set of reproductions, finally found a set from a body shop that had them in storage but wishing I had these now.

Just got an e-mail from LMC saying they have them.
It's great that they're making them, but damn that price, not that they're not worth it to some people, but I could never pay that.

I've seen clean shortbeds with asking prices $1500 and up.

Short Beds must be the Holy Grail of repo parts. . . those of us with long beds will keep on truck'in like we always have.
