72 AC Bracket help please
Hello, seems like "previous owner" shoulde be a 4 letter word.
Well the PO of my 72 fabbed up some AC brackets and I have a fresh set to replace the jury rigged setup he did. I do not see any good picks or diagrams on how these go one. Mainly the front and top front is where I am stuck. On the bracket pics attached, I see where the 2nd one down on rt attaches to front of water pump. Does the top rt one the attach to it? It seems I have seen one or the ther but not both clearly in the same picture on the web. The water pump bolts will need to be replaced as they are not long enough at this point to use either, which is fine. Some clear pictures or diagrams would be great! Thanks Larry

Re: 72 AC Bracket help please
Thank you for those. That picture on top is a beut! Lets me see that yes, i do use both brackets.
Tis strange I have not seen any pictures of the rear bracket going on top of the intake and over the valve covers. I think all I have seen of those is down below? Off the exhaust manifold.

Re: 72 AC Bracket help please
Tim71.
I see how the brackets from the front of the cylinder head in the top of the intake go on. There is that horseshoe-shaped one with a slot for a adjustment that mounts to the compressor. My concern is the one coming off of the block and the intake mounting on to the front of the compressor right where my wires connect.
