69 Blazer Oddities
There are a bunch of 69 blazer specific characteristics to these vehicles such as the passenger seat belt placement, body coloured top, lack of rear top mounting plate, etc. Many of these items appear to be first year quirks that were later improved upon during the production run.
I am curious as to whether the blazer latch reinforcement plates were added on as well. My blazer does not have them and has the original paint underneath a bad repaint. Are other 69's missing these? Here are the items in question.

Re: 69 Blazer Oddities
If I remember correctly prior discussions led to belief that the door reinforcements were absent for the 69 model year. Drip rail deflectors also absent. Only the inside of the tops were painted to match - exteriors were white or black. Like the 70 MY, all Blazers were assembled in St Louis. No 69 Jimmy.
