What seats and tracks fit what years?

Have a 63 Fleetside and looking at options for the front bench seat. I have a seat which the PO made work. Not sure of the what year or make the bench came from. Also looks like the seat bracket has been welded metal stock on the brackets to make them fit in the original holes in the cab.
I'd like to get either the stock seat tracks for my year of truck, or find out what years and makes of bench seats fit ,including the tracks that fit a 63 Fleetside.
Anyone with info and or pics?
Thankyou

Re: What seats and tracks fit what years?

I would have a pair of good used original seat tracks for $45 plus shipping.

I've taken some pics of the seat and what the PO did to the tracks to make them fit
Anyone have any idea where or what this bench might be from? BTW the base of the tracks where it mounts is flat.
BTW the seat folds forward, with the adjuster handle drivers side in front vs the side.
Paulspickupparts...Any pics of those tracks? Like to see if I can use them instead of what is on the seat now.
Thankyou

Shouldn't this be taken to the parts for sale forum ??
Don't you need to be a supporting member anymore ?

Re: What seats and tracks fit what years?

I have heard that GMT400 (1988-98 chevy trucks) bench seats work pretty good in 64-66 trucks, but I'm not sure the bolt pattern is the same for 60-63 trucks as the 64-66's.

I think that the gmt400 seats bolt right in with the front bolts but you have to drill for the back bolts.
Still a pretty easy swap from what I have heard.

Thankyou for that info. Any particular GM truck model?

Re: What seats and tracks fit what years?

2003-26 Silverado seats fit too. Not sure about the earlier trucks but there are members here that have them in 65-66 trucks. Nice part is they come with seatbelts in the seats. I've got a bench with a flip down console that will go in my 65. Mine are from an 03 Avalanche.

I think a bench seat from any 1988-98 gmt400 c/k 1500,2500,3500 etc. will work as I described.

This being said I am not positive it was all 1988-98 trucks as I'm not sure if 88-94 seats are the same as the 95-98's, (GM changed the trucks interior in 95) I'm pretty sure they are but I cant swear by it.

Re: What seats and tracks fit what years?

Just in case anybody reading this thread does not know, When I say 1988-98 chevy trucks I'm talking about 88-98 GMT400 trucks.
I'm not talking about 88-91 SQUAREBODY crew cabs or suburbans.

You might consider becoming a supporting member so you can post a wanted add or sell unused parts. I think the lowest level is only $25 a year. If it wasn't for supporting members this site would not exist.

To me that is a squarebody GM truck seat, probably '81 up from the look of the plastic cover on the side that hides the pivot to fold forward. Seat has been recovered.

the brackets/sliders are custom...homemade...

Was thinking a later Chevy seat myself.. yes the PO made his own bracket to attach to the flat original tracks. Might just recover the seat and use these seat tracks...
Thanks for the input
