Motor mount replacement tips.
1. Chase the center bolt threads to clean out rubber flashing, before installing. (Red arrow)
2. If you have power steering grind the corner off as shown in the photo. It will make putting a wrench on the bolt much easier. ( I don't know if this applies to 1967 factory steering.) 3. Pay no attention to the pyramid it is not trying to control your mind. Two of these things will save you much time during installation.

Oh man, where were you a couple years ago! The tip about shaving off the corner of the motor mount to gain access to the P/S bracket bolt is great! That was a major PITA.

3/8-16 socket head cap screw for that power steering bracket bolt. And yeah, it is a royal pain especially if the bracket dont line up exactly, and they never do! Good info HO455, this is hard earned experienced info, thanks for the heads up!

Thought I would add to this thread by showing two kinds of mounts available today. The one on the right is one I got at NAPA. They listed several but this one was the only one in stock. It only lasted a couple of thousand miles before it split in two. (Photo #2)
The other mount is much beefier and has stops built in it to it. It has been in the truck for at least 12000 miles with no issues.
