All Threads - Photobucket
Whats with all the threads and the lack of ability to view photos posted from Photobucket?
Kinda ridiculous - they blur everything out unless the photo was uploaded directly. Anyone else have thoughts on this?

Re: All Threads - Photobucket
ever heard of angelfire? back when everyone used netscape as a browser and 56k BEEEEOOOOOOODEEDANGDEEDANG modems, angelfire did all the "free" web and image hosting. when they got too many free users, they cut bait, and almost the whole internet was a giant social dumpster fire when nothing worked all the sudden.
this is the exact same cause, shifted right 20 years.

Re: All Threads - Photobucket
Thanks for the replies Team.
I figured it had been covered before and sorry for posting in wrong section - feel free to move it wherever. It's unfortunate that it happens though as it's nice to come back on and peruse the articles and builds and such and have good photo references. Just venting I guess! Build on!

Re: All Threads - Photobucket
There are different degrees of photobucket accounts. The "free" that basically you can store and share photos with family and friends who have to open the link. You can post that link here Like these photos I took at the 2007 Vintiques NW nationals in Yakima wa. http://smg.photobucket.com/user/Rob-...%20Yakima%2007
That's my old Rob-D account that I still pay 35 bucks a year on. The "pro" account that I can share online with and the photos still show up now costs 100 or so a year That is my Mr48Chev account that I started years ago to store and share photos and info I saved and quite often where the photos to answer a question that I post are stored. one can share a whole album but those looking at it have to open the link http://s173.photobucket.com/user/mr4...st%20Nationals After having to go back and edit either account will bring up the slide show with the link. I've found that a big number of guys on the net won't open the link to photobucket or smugmug though. Lately I have been using Smugmug a lot because those looking at the photos don't see the adds. It's really good for sharing photos taken at events with family and friends too. Album I started with old photos of my 48. https://robertdavison.smugmug.com/48Chev-pickup/

Re: All Threads - Photobucket
If you have windows You bring the photo up in photos and then click edit and create and hit edit and then hit crop and rotate and rotate the photo and save it and then post the saved version.
I've done that a number of times when guys have posted sideways photos. As much to see what I am looking at as to turn around and post the photo right side up.
