Factory A/C brackets with headers?

Has anyone used factory A/C brackets with headers? I'm putting A/Ci n the truck and presently have headers. I didnt consider the fact that headers stick straight out from the head alot farther than did the cast manifolds.
Any ideas?

here's some pictures of headers I bought on ebay, the last picture shows an extra a/c bracket, otherwise all other brackets work with this brand

Most of the better header makers make a bracket to use when using a\c with headers.

You could probably fab one up easy enough, but is it worth the hassle? Im sure you could get one cheap from the header manufacture

I made my own. What I did was using the factory bracket, where it bolts to the exh. manifold, I cut the back corner off. This allowed for clearance for the header. Then for the front bolt I got a 1/2 bolt (1/2" x 3") and turned the first 3/4" of it down to 3/16" and used a die to thread it. I used 2: 1/2" nuts to hold the bracket along the bolt.

Thanks everyone for posting. I don't know what brand the headers are. It may not matter that much.
I'll contact a couple of header manufacturers to see if I can get it worked out.

Cheers,

I just swapped in a '98 with the serpentine drive just to have headers! and Vortec heads, and a roller cam...The serpentine drive makes for a really nice solution to those flimsy brackets though.
