I found that a 74 truck has the same bolt/stud spacing as the 59 hinge bolts. Here is a photo of the bracket mounted. The 74 cable goes thru the firewall to a bracket on the crossmember. From there you need to transition to the stock cable that goes thru the pulley to the rear hardware.
